About Dr Chris Saadie

Based in Sydney, Dr Chris Saadie is a fully accredited, experienced specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist. His experience in private obstetrics spans more than 20 years and includes normal and high-risk pregnancy, caesarean birth and gynaecology.
Training
Dr Saadie graduated from the University of Sydney and completed his residency at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St George Hospital and Lewisham Hospital. He completed his obstetric and gynaecological training in London, UK, as well as at Westmead, Liverpool and Nepean hospitals in Sydney.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK (FRCOG).
Pregnancy care
Dr Saadie cares for women through straightforward and high-risk pregnancies, including caesarean birth. He sees you at each antenatal visit, offers basic ultrasound in his rooms, and is available both day and night when your baby is on the way. How your pregnancy care works.
Gynaecological experience
- Minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery
- Operations for uterovaginal prolapse and stress incontinence
- Surgery for fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and ectopic pregnancy
- Colposcopy and treatment after an abnormal cervical screening test
- Surgery for heavy menstrual bleeding that hasn't responded to other treatment, such as endometrial ablation, myomectomy and hysterectomy (total or subtotal)
- Contraception: hormonal options, IUDs such as the Mirena, and laparoscopic tubal sterilisation
- Treatment for menopause symptoms and post-menopausal bleeding
- Investigation and treatment of subfertility, including polycystic ovary syndrome
Where Dr Saadie works
Dr Saadie consults from his rooms in Castle Hill and Eastwood. He has admitting rights to Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga and Norwest Private Hospital in Bella Vista.
